"We started True Story because we wanted to do things differently. We saw how we had lost our way as a society, with a food culture that prioritized fast over good, quantity over quality, efficiency over sustainability. So we’re slowing down to raise and enjoy meat the way we were meant to. In doing so, we’re not only enjoying cleaner, more delicious and healthier foods—we’re improving the welfare of our land, our animals, our farmers and our families."
"The State Room and Fairfax Brewing Company - where craft beer and delicious food collide in Marin County. Enjoy our unique IPAs and lagers alongside mouthwatering burgers, zesty nachos, and tasty pub grub, including vegetarian options. Whether you're with friends or just craving a fresh pint and hearty meal, Fairfax Brewing Company & State Room Brewery are your best bet for good times and great flavors."
ʼShaunt Oungoulian and Diego Roig produce two wines, Populis and Les Lunes Wine. With Populis, they purchase grapes from historic vineyards and multi-generational growers from Mendocino County. These wines are fresh, lively, fruit forward, and made in a playful style. In addition to making wine, they farm and manage over 8 ha of vineyards in Sonoma and Napa and are committed 100% to organic farming and restoring and preserving older and historic vineyards in those counties. Their Les Lunes Wines are made from these vineyards and the top sites from their growers in Mendocino County. The Les Lunes Wines show the more classic, refined, elegant, and ageable side of natural wine."
"We’re devoted to making delicious craft whiskey to drink with friends, friends of friends, and all those who like to celebrate the independent spirit. Lost Republic Distilling Co. was founded by Colin Harter and Matthew Weese in 2013. Growing up best friends in Sonoma County and being surrounded by beautiful vineyards and terrain, the two had a vision of creating California’s craft brown water and the spirit that goes with it. At Lost Republic, we aim to deliver California’s highest quality craft whiskey. It was a simple dream that is now being distilled into reality, and a delicious one at that. Cheers!"
"We believe great cider making starts in the orchard! Utilizing regenerative agriculture practices gives way to crafting distinctive ciders that convey fresh fruit complexity, balance, and a true taste of place. Our cider-making is rooted in our relationship to the land. Caring and continually learning from the orchard is one of our biggest inspirations and joys. For us, farming is a form of land stewardship. Our role is to uplift the health of living systems and thus the vibrancy of flavors they express. Our farm is a testbed for regenerative agriculture, exploring strategies that both heal the land and increase the quality of the yields. We source additional apples from other growers in our community that share this ethic."
"Responsibly made with insect protein and plant-based ingredients, our food and treats are veterinarian-backed and scientifically proven to deliver complete, balanced nutrition without any common allergens. Typical pet food is bad for the planet. It's not always great for your dog, either. If US dogs and cats were their own country, they'd rank 5th in global meat consumption. That's higher than France. And that's a lot of carbon pollution, land and water waste. We're on a mission to make pet food more sustainable - and more nutritious - for healthier, happier, longer lives and more adventures together. And we're doing that with insect protein."
Cayetana Ranch is a treasured natural sanctuary and escape for generations of engaged owner-members committed to land preservation & restoration, local heritage, rustic recreation and spiritual renewal.

Saturday May 10, 2025. Noon. Ish.
It Is Indeed. Ugh! Choices! We Know That Complicates Things A Bit. But Whatever You Decide...Rock Hard With All Your Might. And Also...The Weekend AFTER Is Another Really Cool Event ... Our Friends At COSMICO Are Back With Their Quite Awesome 3-Day Celebration Of Music, Arts, Food & Wine. Tell Em We Sent Ya!
As in years past, weʼll email that to you if you have RSVPʼd. But what we can tell you is that itʼs in a beautiful pastoral location in southwestern Petaluma.
Because itʼs super fun, and maybe needed more than ever right now. You know.. cause stuff.
You probably did. Some of them went to spam folders this year because it came from "Dirtyspoon + Cowchilla". We needed to do that this year because Cowchilla is growing...and a growing number of people are less familiar with Dirtyspoon (how dare them). So if you have friends that haven't mentioned it - maybe give them a nudge - it might be in their spam folder.
Oh you mean ʼWEʼRE ALL (ok) WEʼVE GOT (this)ʼ? Meh. Donʼt read too much into it. We just thought it was a fun little visual dichotomy and maybe a unifying idea.
Of course. And, if we may say so, they rock.
And how. Ribs, hot dogs, corn on the cob, grilled veg. Hand-crafted Mexican Deliciousness. Sʼmores too.
It wouldnʼt be the same without them. The returning Senior Jambassadors will be training a new flock of freshman this year (The Jambassadorables)
This year we are stoked to welcome in some new wine friends! And there are some new sounds coming off that tiny little stage this year - both youth and fully grown. East Bay is coming in hot with a crazy awesome party band.
And, we donʼt wanna give too much away here, but Cowchilla IV will serve as the World Premier of DJ SariNotSari. Please be prepared to clean up your exploded brains.
Also - this year weʼre excited to introduce a new, late night After Party - sponsored by Lost Republic Bourbon. Bonfire, guitar circle, and very special limited edition Bourbon tasting just for the warriors that will close out the evening. Submit your application to info@cowchillafour.com.
Good ones, yes. Same for kids.
Also - this year Cowchilla will feature a Good Doggie Hospitality Area - brought to you by Jiminy’s Dog Food & Snacks. Our furry pals deserve a little dedicated area to romp and snack and hydrate. No reservations required.
You do you.
It is in fact supposed to be funny. If it is not ...maybe you are the problem here?
Sure - but they need to RSVP (rsvp@cowchillafour.com).
So hereʼs what weʼre thinking.
Generation Alpha (the kids bands) will play starting at 2. We think there will be 3 different bands, including last years runaway hit The Trunk Monkeys.
At 3pm weʼll hear from Freeloader...at 4pm weʼll hear from Cowchilla newcomers Tammyʼs Camaro and then DirtySpoon will jam things out at 5:15 or so. Sound good?
Wait you thought that was it? That is not it. THEN weʼll proudly and warmly welcome DJ SariNotSari to the stage for an audio feast of spinning, mixing, thumping and grooving. Booties will shake; and thatʼs a money back guarantee.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
There is plenty of parking a 10 minute beautiful walk from all the action. Signs and Jambassadors will point the way on day of. Park, take some cleansing breaths, and stroll towards the music.
At Deer Camp where all the action is. There's not enough room at Deer Camp for that.
You absoultely should. Prize will be awarded for the most carpool-y group.
Please reach us at info@cowchillafour.com if you cannot find an answer to your dumb question.
Certainly!
Absolutely. Letʼs talk.
Terry is contractually obligated this year.
Do the compostable plates count? (kidding kidding. yes, there are veggies)
Sure. Please fax your paid invoice to us.
Tense. Delicate. Fragile. Litigious.
No you didn’t. And that’s not a question.
Authenticated. Certified. Useless.
